Portraits / Editorial / visual design
My robust background in visual design and marketing inform my creative eye as a photographer and visual creative. I’m intuitively drawn to the authentic energy of human expression and emotion. I bring a strong background in shoot production and creative direction for a variety of photography and video projects, from simple product and lifestyle shoots to small independent films.

Video & Motion Work
I started shooting and editing video back in 2008 while working for Lip Service, shooting BTS of photo shoots and creating promo reels for new season releases. I also produced content for the models along with some music videos. As a photographer for the last 15 years, I’ve done some video work for creative professionals and private clients, and produced BTS footage of some of my photo shoots.
I’ve been doing animation and motion design work since Adobe Flash was popular, creating everything from animated banner ads to complete websites. I started making animated banners and GIFs in Adobe Photoshop, and have done some motion design projects in Adobe Animate and After Effects. I’ve also created learning courses with PowerPoint and Adobe Captivate.
Visual Design
I have enterprise-level experience creating multi-platform ads, social media graphics, websites, email campaigns, print assets, and presentations that generate sales and increase brand awareness, including robust production support for a wide variety of channels and technical specifications.
“Jim was the go-to person for assistance, always ready to lend a hand. His support and guidance, delivered with both patience and expertise, were invaluable. His friendly and encouraging demeanor fostered a positive work environment, making others feel valued and supported. It’s no surprise we relied on him to mentor others.”
